Hi, I'm Michelle and after many attempts to start a blog, I finally decided to go for it. Thank you for taking this journey with me to live large and spend as little as possible in our home town of Greenacres, FL.
A little background, my husband (Larry) and I bought a foreclosed home back in December 2008. Needless to say, it needed some work. I hope to share our stories along the way as we make our house a home. We welcomed our son, Logan, in April 2009 and have been a little behind on the house transformations. I think I'm finally ready to start again.
Along with the house remodeling and decorating projects, I'd like to share some of my store savings that make us stay afloat on one income. I started couponing when my son was about one month old. I couldn't believe the prices of essential baby items and needed to figure out a way to cover these costs with the minimal extra income we had left. Using coupons and buying only when items were on sale is how I greatly helped obtained our monthly budget.
So here it begins...our story of living large and spending little in a city called Greenacres.
